Introduction

The Imperial Cities tour from Casablanca is a comprehensive journey through some of Morocco’s most iconic destinations. Starting in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, the tour continues to Rabat, the political capital, where you will visit the Royal Palace and the Hassan Tower. Following Rabat, the tour heads to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and finally to the medieval city of Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its intricate architecture and rich history.

Day 1: Casablanca

Experience the beauty of Morocco starting with the coastal metropolis of Casablanca. Begin with a guided tour of the city starting at 14:00. Visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture. The tour includes visits to the city’s most important landmarks, the Habous quarter, United Nations Square, the Central Market, and Mohammad V Avenue, the most important street in the city center.

These landmarks offer a glimpse into the city’s rich cultural heritage and its role as a political and cultural center of Morocco. After exploring Rabat, continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, dating back to the 3rd century BC. Volubilis is one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa and offers a fascinating glimpse into the region’s history.
