Introduction

The Imperial Cities & Sahara Discovery Tour from Casablanca is a comprehensive journey through Morocco’s most iconic destinations. Starting in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, the tour progresses to Rabat, the political capital, where you will visit the Royal Palace and the Hassan Tower. Next, the tour continues to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and then to the medieval city of Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its intricate architecture and rich history. Additionally, this tour includes a journey through the Merzouga Desert, the Dades Valley, Ouarzazate, the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, and Marrakech, concluding back in Casablanca.

Day 1: Casablanca

Upon arrival in Casablanca, embark on a guided tour of the city starting at 2 PM. Visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture. The tour also includes visits to the Habous quarter, United Nations Square, the Central Market, and Mohammad V Avenue, the most important street in the city center.

Day 2: Rabat & Volubilis

Travel from Casablanca to Fez via Rabat and Volubilis, exploring two of Morocco’s most historic sites. Start in Rabat at 9 AM, visiting the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, dating back to the 3rd century BC. Volubilis is one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa.

Day 5: Dades Valley & Todra Gorge

Visit the Dades and Todra Gorges for spectacular views and hiking opportunities. After lunch, proceed to Ouarzazate, visiting the Atlas Film Studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt.
